Joshua Robertson

Principal & Managing Partner, Iron Spur

Joshua Robertson is the Principal and Managing Partner of Iron Spur, where he leads the acquisition and long-term ownership of essential service businesses. He brings more than twenty years of entrepreneurial experience and a track record of building, scaling, and exiting companies — most of it in healthcare services, an industry that rewards operators who pair genuine care for people with operational discipline.

Josh began his healthcare career in 2006 as co-founder of National HME, a national durable medical equipment provider to the hospice industry. Over nearly a decade, National HME grew to serve more than 500,000 patients and created close to 500 jobs before its acquisition by
Tailwind Capital in 2015. He then served as CEO of MasVida Health for nearly seven years, modernizing oxygen and equipment management for post-acute providers and growing the business 1200% during his tenure — including leading the company through the operational demands of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Alongside Iron Spur, Josh leads GrowCo Capital, the Robertson family office, which invests in and grows operating businesses and real estate across Texas and beyond. His approach pairs hands-on operating experience with capital strategy — the same combination he brings to every Iron Spur company: unlock growth, drive efficiency, and build durable value, without the forced timelines of a traditional fund.

Josh’s work is grounded in service. He and his wife, Kristina, co-founded Project 4031, a Fort Worth nonprofit that eases financial burdens and fulfills final dreams for terminally ill children and adults, and Josh helps lead its Advisory Council. He also serves on the Dean’s Advisory
Board at Texas Tech’s Rawls College of Business and supports young Texans through the Fort Worth Stock Show Syndicate and University Little League, where he serves on the board and coaches in his community. Josh and Kristina live in Fort Worth, Texas, with their three sons.
